Overview
DORA’S PIRATE ADVENTURE is an ALL NEW live touring show based
on the top rated Nickelodeon television program DORA the EXPLORER.
DORA’S PIRATE ADVENTURE features Dora, a 7-year-old Latina heroine,
who leads the audience through a sea-faring musical adventure to find
her stolen treasure chest. Dora is helped throughout the show by her
cousin Diego, Boots the monkey and all of their pals including Map,
Backpack, Tico, Swiper, Isa and more.

Target Audience
DORA the EXPLORER LIVE! offers something for everyone. Preschool aged
children will be thrilled to see their favorite animated television
star brought to life, live on stage. Elementary school aged kids will
marvel at the theatrical spectacle and fun filled story. The whole
family will enjoy a fun filled, one of a kind musical theatre experience.
Description
DORA’S PIRATE ADVENTURE is an interactive, musical adventure
that leads Dora, our Latina heroine, her cousin Diego, Boots the monkey,
and all their friends on a fun-filled, swashbuckling, sea-faring adventure.
- With help from the audience, Dora and her courageous crew use their
musical, language, math, and reasoning skills to navigate the harrowing
seas, track down the pirate piggies, and reclaim their stolen treasure
(a magic chest containing a Pirate Adventure Party!).
- Dora leads the young audience with Spanish*** phrases and helpful
songs to successfully carry out the mission. (***The production will
be performed in the local language in non- English speaking territories
with the phrases “taught” in English)
- Based on the best-selling DVD in 2004, the show features exciting
musical numbers with all of the characters preschoolers love.
- Dora fans (and those new to Dora) are sure to enjoy this spectacular
and unprecedented family theatrical experience that invites kids to
think and play along.
